If i breed a male grey call duck with a female white call duck would there be a specific colour of ducklings?

Like wise with a Blue fawn female and a white male?

Or is it random?

Cheers

The Grey to White breeding (if they don't have have any hidden recessive genes in common), you should get all Grey. If you breed the offspring together, you should then get about 3 Grey to 1 White.

The Blue Fawn to White breeding, it depends a lot on what colors are hidden "under" the white so to speak. It is hard to say. If the Blue Fawn is carrying white also, you will get some white. If the white has a Blue dilution gene, you might get some Blue Fawn and Pastel (although I am not sure how Blue, since it is incompletely dominant, effects the recessive white in Calls). Of course, you will probably get some Grey too.

Yes many colors can hide below both gray and white if the lines have been messed with in the past. what you got doesn't always tell you what you can get.
