Breeding Easter Eggers

I hope this is the right forum. I understand (correctly I hope) that the Easter Egger is not a breed, but a mutt, basically. I wonder, though, if an EE roo, were to mate with an EE hen, would the resulting chicks be another kind of mutt, or would they be EE also? Thanks for the help.
 
I would tend to call those Easter eggers as well.

The hatcheries that do sell them state they are supposed to be a representation of the "Ameraucana"/"Araucana" breed.

What I have found breeding... beards and muffs tend to be dominant, AND character breeds forward. :)

I've been 'smitten' with the EE bantams from Cackle, and have two years of breeding a small group of them. The first cock bird has slate rather than green legs, and I'm working on that trait, in addition to their color, and uniform aqua blue egg production. So far, It's a small group, but we'll see...
