BREEDING FOR PRODUCTION...EGGS AND OR MEAT.

My favorite is when someone is in a hen's chosen next box, so she climbs on top and drops one on their back.
Unless it's a turkey climbing on a chicken in the chicken nest box. Glad I was there to rescue her. The turkey was broody and she was settling down for the long haul.

Please post! Thanks.

Think long and hard before you pass out your Email willy-nilly. That's a dangerous thing to do. I've given mine to a handful of folks on BYC but none with a vested commercial interest.

I read through some of the link...MAJOR sales pitch.

Emails will certainly be sold!!!

I have two emails, one for real important stuff, and then my phone, for games and crap (don't ever look at that one), I don't think I would ever give out my second just because I want games on my phone email address to a site that immediately wants it...

The offer was to post the link. ( No I certainly don't want spam or sales pitches, no email was sent. )
The latest scam here, is some low life creeps are phoning people saying they are from Revenue Canada (Canadian IRS) insisting that money is owed and if it isn't sent, there will be fines, a criminal record and jail time.

Justin Rhodes at Abundant Permiculture has some really good ideas about raising chickens. He does market aggressively. I didn't sign up for anything but looked at some of his promotional videos and suddenly I was getting two advertisement e-mails a day from him. I unsubscribed and it stopped immediately, and my email address doesn't seem to have been sold. Overall I'd say my experience was neutral, and I got some good ideas about giving my chickens access to my compost.
