Moat lawyers, retire or not, must have a fairly broad vocabulary and at least the fundamental understanding of Greek and especially Latin.

There's not a really serious need for perfect grammar unless one tries to operate his/her office single handedly. That's why it's legal secretaries knock down pretty good bucks and are almost literally...worth their weight in GOLD!

And you moved on. A good lawyer recognizes the value of good help and most are willing to pay. In fact, there has always been efforts by lawyers to 'poach' the exceptional help from each other.

I simply want suggestions for a sturdy, mid-sized breed that has a longer laying pattern, between moulting. And, one that would thrive in Eastern WA. Grand-kids, friends and neighbors all enjoy the colored eggs. Hope to retain some of that.
Your "speaking in tongues" reference, eludes me. I don't find it abrasive, just confusing.

I think you might be a bit like me. I'll be 66 yrs old in August and I'm still a kid at heart when it comes to chicks. I spend 'far more time than I'll admit', sitting among the 8week-olds, just chumming up with them. Many of them come to me immediately and fly upon my head, shoulders and knees, pecking the hell out of me, all the while. It does give me the time that is needed to watch for flaws and merits but I really enjoy the time too.

I spend at least an hour, perhaps two, watching the ones that just arrive....I love to watch them scamper and bump chests...even at that age. And these are ALL supposed to be pullet. Yep, they are just liable to bump chests as cockerels. I HOPE !!!
