If you keep chickens long enough, eventually you'll have one that needs to be killed out of sheer mercy....I'm hoping you have someone who can do that for you so your chickens do not suffer needlessly.

W/ chickens mercy killing is not an "if" it is a "when". I can understand if you don't want to do it, but you should have a plan in place for it when needed.

B/c when they get ill or hurt, and they will, if you can't mercy kill them or have a plan for it, they will suffer needlessly.

Well if I do it will be a sick bird or severely injured and would cost to much to buy stuff to help it or just nothing I can do

As long as a plan is in place, it doesn't matter who, as long as it is done when it is needed.
