BREEDING FOR PRODUCTION...EGGS AND OR MEAT.

I think there is only like 400 people in my town the town my school is in there is about 3000 but that place used to be a really busy place back in the day I wasn't there but that place is a crack spot let me tell u the kids at school even smell like it the houses look like they could fall down and look like no one takes care of them and some of the houses have been there for over a hundred years and Wilton's meats and grocery had been there for a long time it has been there for probably well over a hundred years my pap that was almost a hundred years old said that store was there since before he was born and there is a lady that used to own the place that she said it has been there for as long as she could remember and she was over 90 years old and I know u weren't talking about people but my town don't have very many people in unless it's country memories day people have to put chairs in there drive way just to keep people out and it takes a while to get down the high way plus to make it worse people are yard saleing

Crossed, blue, if it was pure would have been black, TSC silkie rooster 5lbs live weight, I'd have to weigh him again for dressed weight, haven't tried him yet, well, maybe he's a little blueish also, young giant (omg the drumsticks were huge!) silkie, langshan, very young welsumer EE cross. Nobody had good growth for their age, but the giant had huge dark very tender turkey legs, all the rest were tough, haven't tried the silkie yet.
My turkey ran away this morning but I am going over to the neighbors tomarrow to see if they seen her or if she is there

Talk to every 'old' person you know or see, you can't get a better education then them, they are the ultimate coolest, I love talking to and being educated by 'old' people.

Well I know lots of them but but some of them I don't see very often and I recently lost two of them my dads dads mom and dad I am not sure what u would call that being like would it be great gram or what I am not good with stuff like that

Okay, I realize these may be a silly questions but... that don't scare me!

When you cook up an FM bird Does the meat and skin stay black? And...

What color are the drippings and broth? And...

Does anyone have a pic of a cooked FM bird?

Baked Silkie ... a bit too dark for a good pic. Cooked in orange juice, with cinnamon, ground cloves, and a touch of cayenne pepper.
