I have a 80 acre field of alfalfa and clover behind me, I 'borrow' some everyday ;-) I doubt they miss it, the deer get more of it than our chickens for sure.

Around here, TSC is the worst possible shopping experience ever. The prices are way higher than anywhere else, service is non existent, stocking is poor and they don't deliver. I have no idea why I even bother going there.

From what I've read, the maggots are pretty easy, but getting the adults to mate and lay eggs is trickier.  @AngryRooster
we need to get together and breed a northern, cold tolerant strain ! It may be possible.

This is newfoundland it is the Atlantic storm graveyard so we always get rain I can ship you some if you need it god knows what it will cost
