I enjoy my trio of Swedish cross

They dug holes and turned their nice clean tub into a muddy mess, but enjoyed their swim.

Baby ducks grow so quickly doubling size in a few days! I was really surprised and took lots of photos each week.
Messy with water even young so I ended up putting their water feeder on a screen over a shallow tub to catch the spills and keep their bedding dry.
There is a great duck following in the other backyard poultry section with great advice.

Nice! I'm interested to see how mine do, most are Swede x Pekin but there's a few Pure Swedes.

I believe this is a Pekin X Swede that's blue, it's got way more white and orange than a pure Swede should.

So my ducklings range in size from 1.1 Oz to 2.0 oz with most weighing between 1.5 and 1.8 oz

Really like how most of these Buckeye crosses are growing! Biggest and best growing birds I have raised so far. There is also a mutt that should be possible with a pea comb in there.

I would like to join. We have our birds for multi-purpose reasons. Egg production, meat and we just enjoy having them around.
In addition to our chickens we have turkeys as well.
We breed for birds that are multi-purpose and that are fun to be around.No aggressive roosters, and no nasty hens.
