Breeding Frizzles

I have a pair of frizzles and i was told u could not breed them to each other..If that is true what can i do?Thanks

I don't have any but they are on my wish list for the spring. I was told that you have to a smooth "mate" for the frizzle to prevent getting a "frazzle"

Breeding frizzle to frizzle will result in what is called a "frazzle". The feathers will be overly curled and brittle. They will easily break and leave a less then attractive bird. I would separate the pair. Each egg fertilized by the frizzle roo will have a 50% chance of frizzling, as will every egg the girl lays paired with smooth mates.
