Breeding goats

I have two ND does one is not pregnant and the other is possibly pregnant, if so she isn’t far along. I want to make sure both are bred so would it be safe to put a buck with both? Or should I not put him with the one that is possibly bred? This is my first time breeding and want to make sure it won’t affect the pregnancy if she is indeed preggo, thanks!

The buck knows if a doe is in heat or pregnant by the smell of her urine. He won't try to breed her, just stay around her. I think she'll be fine with him. Good luck!

Even if she is pregnant, she isn't very far along and isn't super pregnant to the point the buck can injure the fetus

You could wait until another month until you see that the doe is in heat. If she doesn't go in heat, then she's pregnant, then don't put her in

The bucks usually won't bother the does that are pregnant. I used to run the bucks with the does with no problems. However it is a good idea not to have bucks in with the does that are kidding. For some reason they will often chase and try to breed the newly fresh does. A doe that has just given birth should not have to contend with a buck trying to breed her.
