So I have a isa brown and a mix of other chickens and she started laying but I didn’t know who was laying so I put the eggs in my incubator and I have read that you should not breed isa Browns is this true or not will the chicks have issues or will they be ok

What you probably heard was someone saying that the chicks won't be sexlinked. They won't. Beyond that, they're still chickens, and should still be reasonably healthy and decent layers.

Thanks everyone i didn’t know not to hatch from new layers the embryos are already developing so I hope they will be ok

They probably will be fine. :)

I'm a cautious person.. and perfectionist. :hmm

In nature some hens will sit and try to hatch their first clutch and do just fine. I'm always looking to be the very best I can... that doesn't make your way wrong... just different. ;)

Honestly ignorance can be bliss... while SOMETIMES.. knowledge is crippling. :hmm

This is an adventure, do your best and enjoy it! :wee

How long should they be laying till I can hatch eggs next time?

She has been laying for two weeks
