I've asked a couple of Marans color questions but I still find myself confused as to how it works... I hope I'll eventually figure this out

So here's my next one:

I've got a blue copper roo and I'm thinking about adding a couple of Black Copper hens to the breeding flock. What color(s) would this pair produce?

Any explanation that might fiiiinally hel me understand how the color stuff works is also appreciated!

You'll get blue and black coppers. 50/50.

It is the same rule with BBS than it is any blue variety, whether it be blue duckwing, blue copper, blue spangled, blue wheaten, blue laced, etc. A blue something something x a black or normal something something makes a 50/50 of either.

Ok, that makes sense. I did some more reading last night and this morning so I think I understand how BBS works now but I'm still a little fuzzy on how the copper would factor in. So with the blue copper to black copper all of the babies would have copper with 50% blue copper/50% black copper... But what would the blue copper roo over a black hen (no cpper) give? From my understanding it would be 50/50 blue/black, but would all/any of the babies have copper? Also, would the black babies that were born with copper color be considered BCM at that point or is there something else that goes into it?
