Breeding Mille Fleur Cochins

Hello everyone,

I am curious to hear how fellow Mille Fleur cochin breeders keep the Mille Fleur pattern in their birds.

I have heard of people crossing Black Mottled cochins with Mille Fleur to keep the mottling and also to add black. Does anyone else do this?

I am just getting started with Mille Fleur Cochins and I am excited to hear what people suggest. Do you breed Mille x Mille or cross in another pattern to keep the feathering correct through the generations?
