Breeding my own Golden Comets

I have heard that using a RIR hen and RIW male will get you a sex link also that is what I thought some called the golden comet I read it on the sub-breed on byc home page about breeds they are really nice looking birds.

Using a white rooster over the red hens would give what some hatcheries call the Amberlink. The chicks are mostly white with red flecks mixed in.​

I was told and have read, don't recall where, that true golden comets, the type I have come from a New Hampshire red roo and a White Plymouth rock, also known as white rock. GC
