Hi, all,
Most of the breeds I got this season are for shear beauty, as pets and for eggs. However, I ordered a few breeds, I'd like to set up in breeding pens as they age. Any general guidelines on what length/width for a breeding pen that would house, say a standard trio or a bantam group of 4-6? Am thinking for housing in each, I will use a large wooden dog house, outfitting with nests. Or might build small enclosed, nesting boxes with hinged lids.
Any help is muchly appreciated.
Thanks oodles and Happy Memorial Day to all my fellow Veterans out there (Navy girl, here) and a safe and fun holiday for everyone!
