breeding phesant

hello all

I have picked up a breeding pair of golden pheasant and she has just started laying, female 1 year old and male 2 .

1 will the female sit on her egg !, if so how long does it take
2 if she doesn't some incubation information would be great.

You will have to wait and see if she sets or not.I give mine 10 days and if they don't set I put them in the incubator.Incubation temp is 99.5 and humidity is different everywhere,but 50-55% seems to be the most common.

My hen sits though no eggs hatched. I put 12 in the incubator and hatched 7. I don't know if I will do it again as no one seems to want them in my area even though I am the only state liscensed breeder in my county.
