Breeding Possible Siblings

I am hatching some eggs from a backyard breeder. I would like to keep a cockerel from the bunch and most/all pullets. Since they came from the same small flock, do I need to acquire pullets or a cockerel from another source if I would eventually like to hatch their eggs?

If the eggs hatch and the birds make it to maturity you'll be fine.
Not a lot of issues with that kind of breeding in poultry. When they do get issues it's fertility and hardiness first.
