Breeding prevention

Sorry to sound ignorant. Not sure it’s even possible, but this is our first go at yard ducks. I acquired two unsexed babies over the summer who have now matured to what my best educated guess are male and female. My question is how do I manage breeding. We do not want want new additions at the moment. I have educated myself well in care but failed to brush up on this subject lol. Any tips or advice for just maintaining these two would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!
 
That's the great thing about birds. Eggs must be incubated in order to develop, so you have a lot of control over the process. Duck eggs need 28 days of incubation to develop (chickens need 21 days). Even assuming you have a male and female, as long as you are regularly collecting eggs, they won't have time to develop and you won't have unwanted ducklings.
