I started this year with Bielefelder chicks, an auto-sexing breed. Rooster is ready for baby-making but the hens are most CERTAINLY not looking for a husband right now. I just picked up a red sexlink hen (husband complained too many times of my “freeloaders” so I called his bluff 
). Was just curious what could be the outcome of the two mixed, would the chicks be auto-sexing/sex-linked/neither? It would be nice to have the fast Bielefelder growth, with the production value of a production red, but it’d also be for my personal use.
