Breeding Project/ New at this need advise

    1. Can a Standard Chicken lay a bantam size egg?
    2. How can you create a Bantam Australoup?
    3.Can you use a black bantam and breed it to a Australoup hen to make a Bantam?
    4. Which parent makes the size of the baby chick?

    Here are the standards for the bantam Australorp from the Australorp Club of Australia. Bantam Australorps exist, but I don't know what their standards are or if they are available where you live. Each country can have its own set of standards and they are often different.

    I don't know where you are located. For all I know, you are in Australia.

    You can do a whole lot on changing a chicken's traits and appearance through the power of selective breeding. But this does not happen in one generation. It generally takes many years of selecting the breeding stock and hatching out and raising a very large number of chicks each year to get the right breeding stock and set that trait across all your flock.

    Black Australorps are recognized by both the APA and ABA. The APA recognized them in 1960.

    I don't know if anyone still has them though.
