I have a silkie cockeral and a bantam hen and I was wondering if it’s ok to breed them in my backyard. We already are prepared for chicks and have heat lamps and incubators as we’ve had them before.
Just wondering if it’s ok,

Yes, there's no reason why you can't breed them together. there might not be a big market if you want to sell them and you wouldn't be able to show them. But if it's just for your backyard, go right ahead!
so I wouldn’t be able to sell it because it’s not allowed or because no one would buy them? We would keep them if they were ladies but if it’s male we couldn’t keep it

I have no trouble selling my cross breed chicks, the bantams sell even faster. older cockerels though have a harder time moving on unless you're prepared for the possibility of them becoming table birds
