So I have an Isbar roo which is a medium sized bird. I have regular hens and bantys. Can I hatch some of the banty eggs?? I am afraid the chicks would get to big for their egg...

I don't see why not, but haven't tried it myself yet. I've heard some people had luck with it.

It doesn't work that way and embryos would be fine.

Bigger issue is if your large fowl rooster injures your bantam hens.

Other than that... if you've got a plan for all the extra cockerels... hatch it up!

Banties sell super well here. I'm not worried about finding even the cockerels homes.. My first 2 cockerels sold the same day I posted the ad.. If not my husband will name them all appetizers...
