I am currently designing and putting together some new records for my breeding program. I am super meticulous and would love to see Templates for what everyone is recording in their own programs. The more details the better.
Currently I am looking for records to track incubation, hatching, chick progression, pedigrees, individual birds records, breeding pen set up and moves, egg production, and farm expenses/income. Could be forgetting some.
So far I am thinking I will need a form for setting eggs/incubation, one for hatch day records, several to track growth (or maybe if I can find a form that I can come back to at set intervals to record future weights and progress would be better? I would also like a form for recording all the important information about each breed standard I work with to refer to while outside instead of packing the SOP out there would be great too. Definitely a template for individual bird records - probably just for my breeders for this particular record.
Anyways- I'm looking for inspiration and ideas for layout and flow for all of this so being able to look at what other before me have designed would be awesome! So far what I've found as far as purchasing goes is either way to general/more egg farm oriented instead of pedigree breeding or if it is for breeding it lacks key features I need to track. I am looking to design something very comprehensive and all encompassing. If that makes sense
