breeding season for BEI in michigan

I was wondering what the breeding/laying season is for BEI in michigan?

I would think it would be the same requirements as other birds, x amount of light each day and yada yada. I obviously don't live in MI, and don't have BEI's either. Have you asked miss_jayne? She has calls, which are smaller than BEI's. I know her calls were laying earlier this spring.

Have yours stopped, or did they never start? How old are they?

Well thank you for answering me!! They came from MJ lol I forgot to ask the other day. So I thought I would ask here. I guess you are the only that dares answer mean old me lol

Any who they laid one egg the first day here and now nothing I just wondered if they had a season or if they only lay like April to june or something like that!

I'm pretty sure they do have a season, but it's probably because you just got them. Give them some time to settle in, and maybe they'll start laying again

I don't think their season would be that short, I would think it would be the move. How long have you had them?

Oh definitely then, give them some time and they should start back up. Do you feed them the same that MJ did? That would make a difference too. Not only would they have to get used to a new home, but new food as well
