Breeding Season

JUST KEEP IT UP AND GIVE IT TIME... ALSO IF THEY ARE YOUNG BIRDS THERE IS A BIT OF A LEARNING CURVE FOR THE ROO IF YOU GET MY MEANING?

Funny you mention that, because I just switche roosters. These were the only 3 hatchlings out of a batch of 20. They have been living together all of their lives. They are about 5 months old. Do you think they will mate this year or next year?

From the same hatch? Is there inbreeding going on, or not? (Just wondering, nothing to do really with fertility...

Do you actually SEE them breeding? And in the feces deposits, are there little foam mousse piles? If there are, I would assume they are fertile. Or you can incubate them.

Yes, they are from the same hatch, but there are 2 other roosters from my own eggs in there too. So inbreeding isn't a problem. The ones from my own eggs are not related to over half of my hens.
