Hello everyone, I have seen a few posts on here that say guineas tend to lay eggs in the spring through fall depending on the weather. Well we recently started breeding guinea fowl and over the winter we had the birds in a warm building (around 60-80 degrees) and we had around 14 birds (not sure of the sex ratio) but we were getting around 7 eggs per day almost every day before we started incubating. We are incubating them ourselves and we have had two groups of 10 successfully hatch. HOWEVER, we moved the group to an outdoor area and have not been getting many eggs. maybe 5 a week if we are lucky and we just candled them and discovered that none of them are fertile. Any ideas on why? Is it possible that we changed their natural cycle due to it being too warm over the winter months? Thank you
