breeding silkies ? can i mix colors together

can i mix differnt colored silkies together or do i have to stick to white with white blue whit blue black with black??? i would like to get all the differnt colors but i want to keep everyone in the same pen. can i do that if i want breed them and hatch the eggs??? what will i end up with??

you can keep them in the same pen but if your going to separate them do pens like
black/blue/splash you could put some white in with them but no whit roo or you will only get white offspring
White by them selfs
Red/Buff to keep the patchy miss coloration out of the buffs
and any other colors shouldbe put together by color!

As long as you don't plan on showing them it doesn't matter if you mix the colors...it's sometimes fun to see what you get!
 
If you want to hatch out pure colors, only blue, black, and splash can be kept in the same pen. All others must be kept seperate according to variety.
