Breeding Sussex Chickens

Hello,

I am new to the web-site and I have a question.

I have a trio of Buff Sussex and trio of Light Sussex as well as 7 Silver Sussex pullets. I would like to know if I breed my Buff Rooster to a Light hen can I then take the offspring and breed back to the Buff side and get pure Buff Sussex? I also would like to know if anyone here knows anyone who
raises the Brown, Red, and White Sussex? Thanks for any and all help and I really love this sight with all the imformation.
