in chickens what has to go on as far as breeding and stuff, like daddy to daughter and borhter and sister...does it matter? or whats the specks of it, what will keep your flock healthy?

Folks say brothers and sisters don't produce offspring as good looking as fathers to daughters and sons to mothers. I've never tried it yet. Guess we'll find out.

Unless you just keep on inbreeding over many generations, all breeding brother to sister will do is intensify traits, both good and bad. Mother to son or grandson or father to daughter or granddaughter is called linebreeding, which is quite common.

This is true. Breeding siblings (brother with sister) as speckledhen said in her post can "intensify traits, both good and bad. But mother with son or father, or father with daughter or granddaughter "is called linebreeding, which is quite common", true also. It's done a lot .
