I bought a pair of silver duck wing OEGB, a pair of black OEGB, and a bb red hen (I already have a pair just wanted a trio) 3 days ago. When I got them they were all in a pen together but now I have them in separate breeding pens. How long do I have to wait to get the eggs to make sure the chicks will be pure bred?

I've read 30 days minimum, 6 weeks (42 days) to be certain. I haven't done any specific breeding myself though, so wait for others to weigh in.

Are you wanting to show them OR breeding to the SOP?
If so, I’d say six weeks minimum.

Not wanting to show them. Just want to make sure they have correct coloring.
