Well I was going to try to get this posted a few days ago but finally got some time yesterday for pictures. I've been trying to figure out most the flock I currently have. I believe I have three or four red roosters in my flock. My dad swears it's just one. So I'm hoping someone can help me figure out what I got. Lol I'm also trying to figure out breeds but not sure on that myself. I know what the three polish are. And also know that the red one with green tail feathers is a young rooster. But I'm thinking one of the grey and white is a rooster and I believe two of the red and white are roosters. The other two young reds I believe is female, at least judging from how they squat when I try to pet their backs lol Anyway, thoughts would be appreciated. 20180729_194427.jpg 20180729_194304.jpg 20180729_180921.jpg 20180729_180858.jpg 20180729_194237.jpg 20180729_194146.jpg

The pictures are grainy, but I will tell you what I can see from them.

Picture 1- The production red up front is a cockerel and the one in the middle is also a cockerel. Can't tell about the rest of the birds in this picture.

Picture 2- Black sex link pullet up front on the far left. Behind her is a white crested black Polish rooster, and next to him is a white crested black Polish hen. I believe all the rest of the birds are cockerels, except maybe the red bird in the middle, furthest back, in front of the fencing. Can't tell either way on that one. But I'm pretty sure both barred rocks and the other two reds are cockerels.

Picture 3- 2 red cockerels, 2 black sex link pullets.

Picture 4- buff Orpington pullet, 3 barred rock cockerels, black pullet, red cockerel (his head), and can't tell about the red in back.

Picture 5 and 6- both red cockerels.

Go with what he says, he's one of the best at this kinda stuff.
You are one of the best too, Frazzemrat! And also Brahma Chickens5000, and so many others I can think of. I'm amazed at how many excellent people we have now in the Breed & Gender room. I don't think any other website, anywhere, can compete.

If all three the barred rocks are roosters then how come one squats when I put my hand over it's tail? The one with the short tail feathers in pic 4.

:welcome :frow I agree with the other posters. It looks like you have some Barred Rocks, Buff Orpington, Production Reds maybe mixed, Polish, and Black Sex-Links. I see some males but from the pictures not sure of how many.

I realise now that I'm missing two reds in these pics. I'll have to find them and post them too lol
