breeds for meat chicken

Im raising some black copper maran X americuna and they definately are fast maturing. They began crowing at three months! Im butchering some tommorow

why americuna, isn't there bigger breeds?

I intended to raise more layers, unfortunately only two turned out to be hens. So chicken dinners!
