Breeds I've managed To NOT hatch

Okay, just because it will make me feel better to see it actually written down, this is my official list of breeds I managed to NOT successfully hatch in the last month ...
  • Cuckoo Marans
  • White Plume
  • Blue Laced Plymouth Rocks
  • Choco/Mauve Rocks
  • Wheaten Marans
  • Polish
  • Black Jersey Giants
  • Welsummers

Breeds I HAVE managed to hatch this last month:
  • 1 Cochins
  • 2 Buff Rocks
  • 1 Barred Rock
  • 1 Black Orp
  • 5 Silver Penciled Plymouth Rocks (only 2 survived)
  • 1 Light Sussex
  • 1 Mottled Houdan

Okay, I lied. This does not make me feel better! I do have 10 sweet fuzzy butts, though, to add to my other flocks.

Where did you get the plymouth rock from?
All my hatching eggs were from ebay. The silver penciled PR were ebay from sunny side microfarm. The blue laced PR were ebay from a project breeder.

The eggs that survived to hatch were all in the upper left hand side of my incubator, so obviously I had airflow issues. Now have installed fans in both incubators, so hoping for a better hatch on May 23.

there are chocolate/mauve eggs on ebay right now and im not supposed to get anymore but i really need some.
LOL, I know what you mean. I cannot under any circumstances buy eggs right now. Not until June. I actually get a little twitchy when I scan the ebay auctions. Truthfully, actually twitchy. And I am NOT a twitchy person! Doesn't help that my eggs that were supposed to hatch tomorrow are most likely goners.

Im in town and im at my limit. But id get rid of my 2 new hamp older girls if i could just get those eggs or some buff.

Luckily in Toledo there are no rules except one - "Don't be a nuisance." Therefore, I am building Coop #2. For being in town, we actually do have a larger piece of property. Almost 3/4 of an acre. Good luck with your decision either keep things as they are or tweak it a bit!
