When a duck has laid a clutch how long is it before she sits on them

She may never. Not all ducks go broody. Most breeds I know don't tend to go broody at all.

Depends if the duck even goes broody. If she does, she will sit after all eggs are laid. If she's not going broody, you'll have to incubate them if you wanted to hatch! Good luck, keep us updated!
