Bresse chickens... laying like crazy.

Hi everyone. I just got 2 bresse chickens alittle while ago. They give me an egg a day just about. Does anyone else have luck with the breed. What's your opinion on them. My blue bresse is mellow where my white is high sprung. Thanks

All I have heard about Bresse chickens is that they are supposed to taste great.

As far as laying, I am not sure because the block that I purchased 2+years old and started molting a month ago. There is 1 younger hen 5.5 months old and not yet laying.
