I’ve only had good experiences with Bresse Farms. They had good customer service and birds came on time. Maybe they sent an assortment on accident.

I just texted or called if I had questions and the response time was almost immediate.I ordered 6 black Bresse chickens from Bresse Farms but received 2 blacks, one blue and one that may be white with smoky markings, 3 RIR, and one chick that may have been a crested cream bar. I was supposed to get the chicks on 2/1/21 but got them on 1/25/21. I emailed the guy at the farm who said that for genetic purposes I should be breeding black Bresse to Blue Bresse, but what I ordered was 6 Black Bresse chicks. He hasn't responded about the 2 Bresse chicks I didn't receive. I also ordered food and a thermometer. I received food in a black garbage bag but not the thermometer, about 3 days after the chicks arrived. So I'm thinking they're not too organized there, or maybe I received someone else's chick order. Not too sure I will order from them again if they don't make my order right speedily. It's now 1/29/21 and I haven't heard back from them regarding the text I sent. I'm going to try emailing them, but If I don't hear from them soon then I'll consider not that they're disorganized but that they have really bad customer service and don't intend to address the errors they've made in my order.
i am thinking i got screwed by the same personTerrible experience with Bresse Farms. I ordered 20 Swedish Flower Hen chicks. Order totaled $260 including shipping. My order was delayed by one month. I received 11 Rhode Island Reds, 2 Blue Laced Red Wyandottes, 1 Blue Bresse, and 6 possible Swedish Flower Hens. Also 1 unknown DOA chick. Two of the Swedish Flowers have vaulted skulls. Something breeders would cull for in this breed, but normally you wouldn’t produce these at all as you should be breeding any crested to non-crested. I questioned Justin about the RIR chicks. Sent him high quality photos of them. He said no, those are SFHs. Clearly, they’re not. Then I realized two others were Wyandottes. Lastly, found out one was a blue Bresse chick. I had posted about it in a group on Facebook and the Swedish Flower Hen breeders all said no way those are SFs. Also two of his customers commented they had similar experiences with him. So I called him out on it. He claims there was a computer system error and I got 9 RIRs and 15 SFHs. No, I did not and the label on my box also says 21 SFHs were packed. He finally refunded me $120 for 12 SFHs, but he owes me for 14. Says he’ll send the other $20 tomorrow. Keep in mind I didn’t get any refund for $60 shipping. My personal opinion is that he could not fulfill my order so filled it with what he could. Would never do business with this guy again. Now I’m out $140 and left to care for a bunch of chicks I don’t want.
Yep, not surprised, but sorry to hear. You are not alone. I feel like I got totally scammed.i am thinking i got screwed by the same person
I am changing my review on Bresse farms. A ton of my birds have gnarly, curled toes. I also looked back at my order and didn’t get the actual birds i wanted...and after sending a couple of emails have never gotten a response. This is the same experience for another friend on here. I thought Justin was super nice as a person to work with but the chickens aren’t very good quality and my order that i placed was wrong and still hasn’t been corrected. i would not order from Bresse Farms i the future.I just received my order from Bresse Farms. I worked with Justin. The communication was great. There was a bit of nasty weather that threw off the postal system but otherwise all of the chicks arrived and he called me shortly after to just check and make sure we had received the chicks. In my opinion, Bresse Farms has been easy to work with and it was my first time getting chicks in the mail and not our local hatchery.
I ordered hatching eggs from Justin twice with zero hatch rate, all duds. I won't buy from them again. The Bresse Farm without the "S" from Florida is much better, I bought hatching eggs from Frank on ebay. They hatched, beautiful birds.I am changing my review on Bresse farms.
