Brick bottomed run. Yes or no?!

What's everyone's thoughts on a timber & welded mesh run built on a course of breeze blocks?! Breeze blocks will be set on concrete slab. Sand on floor inside.

I would not spend money on a floor for a run. Sand is cheaper and hard to beat.

I have problem with foxes here so I'm going to have a solid floor with sand on top.
The breeze blocks are for round the edge, to keep the sand in.
