Can anyone tell me how it is down there.tx_dane_mom belongs to BYC and I have not heard from her since they had evacuwate.Does anyone know how the circumstances are there. From, NC

Southeast Texas took a big hit from Ike. I don't know specifics about Bridge City, but some parts of southeast Texas are flooded. Check the local news stations in Houston. They have had lots of coverage over the hurricane. Click 2 Houston (channel 2), Channel 13 Eyewitness News and Channel 11 (all Houston stations) should have something on their webpages. Most of the areas are still without electricity and phone service (cell and land line) has been sporadic. You might try texting if you have her cell number, sometimes those go through. Good Luck.
