Brigitte Bardot layed her first egg today!

My hatchery cuckoo marans layed her first egg today!! It is not as dark as a proper cuckoo marans but it is darker than my RIR eggs and I'm a very proud chickie mama!!

Here is the egg next to the RIR egg and a California White egg

Here you can see that Brigitte's egg is a little darker and a little bigger than her hatchmate Marie Antoinette, who layed her first egg two weeks ago.
Marie's egg is on the left and Brigitte's egg is on the right.

They look so big, I'm used to my bantam eggs (Esme, my EE, just started laying last week)

I ate my first eggs today and they were DELICIOUS!
