Hello everyone,
I'm a first time chicken owner and I have 4 golden comet pullets that are presumably around 8-9 weeks old. I've been putting them outside during the day for about 2 weeks now and the coldest temp they've had is 54. I want to leave them outside in their coop at night too but I live in the mountains and it has been dropping down into the low 30s at night. Tonight is projected to be 37. What temperature is safe to leave them out? Thank you in advance.

It varies for everyone where I live in northern California it’s been hi 40s to low 50s at night. I recently moved my chicks out to the coop and gave them a heat source but they didn’t need it. When I went to check on Them they were huddled together far away from it . My pullets are 6/7 weeks old and have been in the coop without heat for about five days hope that helps you.👍🏼
