I am getting six juvenile guineas from another farm which also has chickens. I'm worried about introducing a virus or something into my flock from the new Guineas. I'd like to set up a pen for the Guineas in the chicken coop so they will know that's their home, but I don't want to put my chickens at risk. Anyone have any suggestions?

In my experience with Guineas, they are pretty hearty/resistant when it comes to disease, but since they are currently housed with chickens... there's always a possibility that they could bring something new in. If in doubt I always quarantine new birds in a separate area for 30 days, and at least worm them with a broad spectrum wormer (twice, 10 days apart)... then you could add one bird from your existing flock to the new birds, and see how it goes for a couple weeks.
