Anyone know what this is?

Hey all!

I have been taking care of my friends chickens while she is in France and I noticed something unusual on one of her chickens beak. I think it might be worms because they have not been dewormed.. What do you guys think?

It could be a sore from poking her beak through a wire fence or from a sharp feeder. They usually fall off eventually. You can apply some Betadine on it.
