Bringing the outdoors in.....

First the chickens were HERE, on my sculptured cherry tree....

sooooo, i opened the window, said, "Helloooo!" and whatayaknow....

then we redecorated our living room....with chicken decor, of course....

we had to climb up and get them down. they tried to get right back up there and then up on my bookcases. crazy girls!

so a little lovin' before putting them back outside....

That's funny, miss_j! Better be careful about opening those windows for now on.

i was thinking, 'No, she wouldn't'....and YES she did. she looked around for a few seconds and flew right up to the curtain rod, and snuggled down.

they are total free rangers. they usually run away from us, so it was so weird. at first, i thought they were headed for the Christmas tree!

she is a little muttinski that my son was given. she is hilarious crazy. always chatting away. and when she is 'productive' her comb is HUGE!

i have no idea what she is for sure, but she is the TINIEST thing!

Sounds like they knew exactly where to go to get warm. Glad the Christmas tree was spared! That could have been disasterous!

i tried putting them in it, but they had nothing doing with that! it isn't decorated yet, but i think the lights were freaking them out.

and a bantam in a pre-lit tree......
 
That's funny! A live bantam decorated tree. Now THAT I do have to see!
