Hi everybody, how are you all? My name's Dave and I'm from Leeds. I've only been keeping chickens for a short while but loving every moment of it. Even getting up to let then out at 5:45 on a wet and rainy morning such as today is worth it when I see them scratching around enjoying the garden. I have some eggs in the incubator at the moment which I hope to move to the allotment when they are ready, and some more eggs in another incubator which will be staying in the garden (we only got a few at first to see if we liked and could cope with them).

Thank you all for the welcomes. Yes I think I am probably addicted to the chickens LOL. My profile picture is of a silkie and her own chick which she raised her self. She did have four apparently but once this was born she got off the eggs When I saw them I couldn't resist getting them. It was so easy to fall in love haha.

In reply to the comments on the welcome email from this website where it states about spending all my free time talking chicken LOL, THAT'S why I'm here haha. All my friends are sick of me talking chicken all the time so I came here to be chicken crazy with all you people instead
