brinsea eco 20.......fan rattling noise?

my brinsea has not been used for a few months so i thought id turn it on to incubate some bantam eggs. dusted it off, set it up, plugged it in, and the fan is making an awful racket

ive gave it a good look over but cant see anything jammed or obstructing it...its heating up fine but the noise is terrible. any ideas what it could be? its only 6 months old...cant be broke already surely?

Sounds like there is something in it. We had a bit of shell cause a similar noise.

i've heard their customer support people are pretty good if you call them, but i've never done so myself. does sound like maybe a little piece of something got stuck up there.
