I have a brinsea 20 Ex with pump
and a hovabator 1602N (its old and not in the best cosmetic shape)

I was thinking to cut the hovabator top , to make the brinsea top fit on .

My idea is to see of the Brinsea control top will have enough power to heat and mantain the temperature an humidity

if it does I can put more eggs since the turner holds 120 quail eggs

What do you think guys?

I dont like to screw up the hovabator for nothing.

any opinion is welcome

I do not think it is a good idea. Yes, you may screw your Hova for nothing. You can put 120 quail eggs in Brinsea 20 just double stack them.
Then use Hova as a hatcher, now that is an idea (works for me every time, the only difference I use Brower TH as hatcher).
