So far it is day 9 of incubation for my coturnix Tibetan quail eggs. The incubator has NEVER gone above 99.6 or below 99.5!!! It is amazing! I just top the water reservoir off every 2-3 days and the rest is completely automatic! The temperature is what amazes me. Never once has it gone above of below set temperature! The automatic turning is also a big help! :) I highly recommend this incubator! :)

oh my !!! im so pleased to hear that. Bought mine on 19th July arrived in south Africa about 5th Aug only because over here everything is slow Set it up this morning Everything ready for blast off

Mine too! I just set the eggs yesterday and the temp is perfect. I haven't had to check the water pot yet, but on the test run with a hygrometer perched inside it ran just perfect and would raise right back up to normal very quick. I am having a hard time not looking at the eggs for the next 7 days. :) Good luck with your hatch

Hi rhere
Please can you help me ??? I set 6 chicken eggs on Aug 19 7.30am ( south african time)as you mentioned the temp and humidity is wonderfully accurate. everything went great till day 19. I was so excited but then I messed up. Until day 19 Temp was 37.5 and humidity 50% I had 4 of the 6 eggs doing a wiggle moving slightly Then I set temp 1 degree lower and humidity to 78% Then my external pump went mad and kept on filling water so that the center well overflowed 3 of the eggs are sitting in a pool of water 3 on a semi dry base- oh yes forgot when I saw it overflow I turned the humidity down to 74 instead of 78 and eventually it leveled and stayed there. Did I set the humidity too suddenly? shoud I have put it up in smaller stages? Im sure its just my inexperience Today is day 21 and I see tiny chips of shell under 2 of the eggs which are not in water. The depth of the water is about as deep as that little water procector in the centre that holds the absorbent card. I have measured the level of the lid and also the level of the surface the brinsea is standing on and my spirit level is accurate why does it collect at one side?? any help would be appreciated. Im so afraid that the remaining ones will drown or not dry out enough. Humidity is very steady at 74% at the moment. I really hope you see this soon Thanks

Is there anyway you can slide a paper towel and soak up some of the water they are sitting in really fast? I know when I had to open my Brinsea to fill the wells, the temp and humidity came right back up very quickly. That's what I would do, but I don't know if that's the right thing to do.

Im frozen into inactivity I cannot watch -Im so afraid to open- The only 1 I see trying to get out might die if I open it its got a tiny hole but if it moves a mm or 2 to the right it will be engulfed into the puddle what I could do is lift the whole tray by a mm or 2 and hope the water builds up more on the other side where Im sure no eggs will survive I have been watching this poor little guy battle and peep and wiggle so hard.... let me go do that in the meantime Thanks...

I completely understand, you're between a rock and hard place. Keeping my fingers crossed for you

OK You were spot on - only I should have reacted sooner I put a few sheets of paper under the try and it did move the puddle a tad but then I rolled up a sheet of paper towel and twisted it a few times so I could leave it inside and have no gap betwen the lid and the base- worked like a dream - did it 3 more times and its almost dry. if I had done that earlier I might have saved some more. Ill just be delighted if this little one makes it.thanks for the support, it makes all the difference.

My first baby- I will spare you the other 99 photos
