I hope that anyone who owns a Brinsea II Advanced could please help me with anything that I need to know so that I can incubate a VERY important duck egg. Everything I read about this unit says its a "set it and forget it" model. Is there anything that the manual does not include that I need to be aware of? I have yet to use this incubator before and I need to get this right the first time.
The lengths that I have to go to even get a fertilized egg is out of the ordinary. We have a very short window to try and get some offspring from the last of a very important line of ducks. Margarita has been laying normal eggs after coming off an implant that prevented her from laying eggs because she was having serious issues with soft-shells. We'll be "borrowing" a drake over the course of a weekend in hopes that she can lay a fertilized egg. Once we have an egg within that time period, we'll have to ensure that we give it every possible chance to hatch. This is why I need to reach out to the community for help. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Margarita thanks everyone for their help!
Her Grandparents who are no longer with us would thank you too.
