Brinsea not a good hatcher...

I have the ECO 20 its a great little incubator and a poor hatcher. It will incubate about any egg that will fit in it. But i agree with others about it being a bad hatcher. I think this little incubator would be great if it had a on/off switch for the fan.
 
I've only hatched twice, but I liked the Brinsea better than the Hovabator because everything was so automatic. I had trouble regulating the temperature in the Hovabator. I had read about humidity issues with the Brinsea, so I folded a washcloth that extended down into the water trough and then spread flat above it to increase surface area. I also had a straw ready to put through the air vent so I could spit water into it as necessary. That worked well for me. I got the Brinsea on sale and did not want to spring for the humidity pump. It may depend in part on your climate.
