Hi everyone. I’ve been looking for an incubator for the past few months and I was pretty set on the Nurture right 360, but I think brinsea is a good brand too. I’m not really sure and would like y’all to vote on which one is better overall.

Have any of y’all had experience with these incubators or know someone who has?
Hello 👋

I have a Brinsea Ovation 28 eco.
It is very reliable and is exceptionally easy to operate.
I've had great hatches from it! The humidity can be easily kept at a precise percentage and the inbuilt temperature control is very accurate.
It is definitely a good incubator for a beginner due to it being so easy to use.

If you don't want such a big incubator then the Brinsea Maxi is also a good choice. I am looking at purchasing one for myself in the near future.

I will always use Brinsea from now on after experiencing the excellent performance and quality they have. They might seem expensive at first glance but I can assure you that they are worth every dollar. There's no use getting a cheap Chinese one just because it seems cheap. They don't work!

To be honest it's the only incubator I've ever owned so I can't compare it to any others such as the NurtureRight you mentioned but I have heard they are also a good one to try.

In my opinion the Ovation 28 is a bit small for me and I wish I'd gone for the 58 version but for normal poultry owners, the 28 is quite sufficient.

Good luck and if you do decide to purchase a Brinsea, I can help you with further questions you may have.

I've been told great things about both. I guess it depends on your frequency of use and what your end goal is. I don't own any incubators myself. But because I don't plan on using it super frequently myself so I chose to purchace(when I finally decide to purchase) the nuture rite 360 because of both price point and claimed reliability by many. I've been told that brinsea has tighter requirements which I good but also can come with a hefty price. So it really depends on your end game in my opinion.

I've had 2 of the nurture right 360's. The latest model and the one before. I quickly sold the latest model as when I did an in depth comparison it is 3/4 of an inch shorter in head room. does not seem like much, but when you are raising large breed chickens it matters that they can't do the normal stretch and walk after hatching. There are now several companies that will 3-d print a riser for the new model to give you added head height.

As far as how well it works, the one I still have ran for 16 months straight. Only off long enough to clean between hatchings. So I am generally pleased with it. The Brinsea, I've not tried, but then I moved up in size and use a 256 egg incubator with the nurture right and gfq Styrofoam as test batch incubators.

I have 2 of the Nurture Right 360s and have been very pleased with them. I've hatched 4 times this year with around 90% hatch. I haven't tried the Brinsea but would highly recommend the nurture right

Ive only done one hatch with my NR 360 but I love it. My major complaint is the lid. It has to fit just right or candling can go from a calm experience to a panic. The candler that is built in isnt that great. If you put a piece of cardboard with a hole cut in in and turn all the lights off its...better...not great. Also it can begin to smell awful if you prolong eggs that you are unsure about. Overall we had a pleasant hatch and it worked great but it was our first
